Each one of the 4 suits of 10 numbered cards takes place in a pythagorean tetractys inside the triangle of base 12 . One tetractys represents : 1+2+3+4 = 10 numbered cards. So : 4 tetractys = 4 x 10 pip cards = (the 40 numbered cards of the 56 minor acana).
